Lucy: A Rare Baby

After battling a rare allergic rash to egg yolks , Matt and I were alarmed when a new rash appeared last week over Lucy's poor little body and when her normally sunny disposition took a turn towards cranky. What could this be? A rare case of the vapors? Continuing with her trend towards rare illnesses, Lucy had a rare case of infant strep throat.

After a few days on antibiotics and at home quarantined with mommy (which made my normally sunny disposition a wee bit cranky), she is now happily on the mend! So until the next rare illness (allergic reaction to fiberglass?), we'll enjoy our happy, healthy, sunny baby. Keep your fingers crossed that it isn't too out there, for neither Lucy nor I enjoyed quarantine!
