Last week we bid a sad farewell to our friends in Level 1 but we knew it was time to go (Lucy is 6 months and most of her pals there are just hitting the 4 month mark) but we were excited to move up a level, and hang with some older kids (these babies are older at 7 months and up).
Karen (the wonderful teacher of both levels) told us Level 2 would be a 'bit more challenging' which quite possibly was one of the understatements of the year! At Level 1, Lucy just had to lay there on a blanket while I sang to her, occasionally with some tummy time thrown in but Level 2 is all about cardio---for the both of us! I hauled her up foam pieces, steadied her as she threw balls in and out of a ball pit, rolled her on a giant inflatable log, spun her on a big half ball, helped her pop bubbles, waved a parachute up and down, then I hoisted her on my legs for lifts----all while singing!
After class was over, we were completely exhausted so Momma took us to the food court where she treated me to a yummy pineapple smoothie and Lucy had a bottle. Then we went home and crashed. Whew!

Wow! Lucy is moving up in the world!! Level 2 sounds exhausting. The scariest part is that within months she'll be ready for another level. I'm happy to hear Momma helped out in the post work out rejuvination efforts.
What is that thing Lucy's sitting on? A parachute? A pillow? Whatever it is, it looks intense!
