The Anti-Cult Of Mommy (dubbed by Lily, a.k.a. Benjamin's mommy) was formed in Gymboree by a group of spectacular mommies who love and adore their children but do not weave their darlings' clothes from organic cotton they grew and harvested themselves! We all quickly bonded and formed a tight-knit, supportive group and have enjoyed fun playdates in the park and witty emails about lack of sleep, explosive diapers, and the love triangle between Lucy, Benjamin, and Gabriel.
Finally, we decided to include the husbands in on the good times. We packed up picnic baskets, blankets, and diaper bags and headed for a picnic at Clover Park. The gang was all there (Liam, Benjamin, Gabriel, and new member Ava) with their parents with the exception of Presley who was finally letting her sleep-deprived parents sleep. While the parents ate and chatted, the babies chewed on toys and practiced rolling over.
We all had such a great time---we can't wait to do it again soon!
