What A Difference Some Months Make!

Lucy and Benjamin R. (not to be confused with Lucy's other best bud and suitor, Benjamin C.), have been friends since they both had their first playdate at barely two months. His mom Naomi and I waddled around pregnant together, talking about how cool it would be when our babies were here to play together. 

So those first few dates were a little bit of letdown as we encouraged the babies to 'play' but they just mostly stared at us, their hands, or fell asleep but at the latest date, after a group hike---it was on as they battled for a pair of sunglasses that Benjamin's daddy graciously let them play with  (actually, he and Benjamin's big brother Ethan wanted to eat their fries but still). So I guess now, game on!
