Lately, everything in our home is glittery, frothy, and a bit on the tacky side. Everything, every game, every conversation somehow turns back to princesses. And she isn't the only one--all her friends come to play, talking about princesses and fairies.
The best part? None of these girls have seen the movies in full. Most have only seen musical clips. They vaguely know that the princesses dress up fancy, and in their games, are the rescuers (of course they still make it to the ball on time). When they know part of the story, it becomes garbled--Belle and the Beast live together near Snow White who enjoys cleaning up after animals.
So for now, we're accepting this invasion of all things pink, gaudy, and sparkly...
