Enjoying a rare burst of summer sunshine the other day, Matt and Lucy cuddled in our backyard, laughing, watching the clouds, talked about Elmo, trees, flowers. You know the usual father-daughter talks. I don't know about Lucy but I know Matt is eagerly awaiting the day this gloomy summer ends so he and Lucy can share another heart-to-heart.
