Now that summer weather is here (finally, in mid-July), Lucy has been having all sorts of fun exploring our backyard. Insects, trees, the grass, the different blooming flowers all clamor for her attention!

With plastic drugstore watering can in hand, she eagerly sets off pretty regularly now to give each "pretty flowurr a drink cause they so thursty mommy". And then she sings to the flowers, or tells them about her day.

Eventually, she runs out of water (or energy, usually the water goes out first) and we talk about how much the plants and flowers love her attention. I think they appreciate her water, or at the very least her many choruses of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".
