Ch-changes

As you undoubtedly noticed, I updated my blog picture and title. Well, since the Lu is turning the big 0-2 very soon, it no longer felt right to call myself a 'brand-new' mommy. And also, Lucy isn't really a baby anymore. She is toddler full of personality, opinions, eager to explore and move around.

In fact, in her new eagerness to discover some of her old things are being left behind. One of her earliest joys in life was the discovery of Rosie, I believe the reason she pulled herself up was to get closer to her beloved dog.

And once she learned where we keep Rosie's leash, Lu loved nothing better than to walk that patient dog, even stopping to praise (okay, shout but nicely, "Good dog!"). But as you can see from the new blog picture, sometimes even sainted dogs can't hold the attention of a go-go toddler. In this case, Lu saw a red flower petal on the ground and just had to go get it. But don't feel too bad, she ran back to place the petal on Rosie's head, shouted (apparently Lucy believes Rosie is hard of hearing) "Gift for Rosie" and the two went on their merry way. Until the next shiny/bright object...
