We went to NYC to celebrate the graduation from NYU of Lucy's much adored Auntie Dissy (pronounced by Lucy as Diss-ee) and Lucy loved the city right from the start. Maybe it was all the lights. Maybe it was all the people constantly walking. Perhaps it was all the 'dog-ees' out and about. But from Central Park to Yankee Stadium, she loved every adventure.
But while the city was exciting and everything, Lucy particularly delighted in the quieter moments when she could spend one on one time with her Auntie Dissy, or cuddling with us.
Still, despite those quieter moments, I do think she's a bright-light, big-city girl after all...call it a mother's intuition...
