A Bit of Fringe on The Top

Lucy was born with a head of thick, shiny, luscious, shampoo-commercial worthy locks. Over the months they have grown from spiky to long, and now quite a bit straggly. We knew it was time for our baby's first haircut. Since neither Matt nor I were willing to risk taking a scissors anywhere remotely near our precious baby's head, we decided to seek professional help.

So we went to First Cut on Montana (highly recommended by Benjamin's mom Lily) where Lucy immediately loved the mirrors, the TVs, the giant rocketship she got to sit in, and the huge white cape that stylist Patricia draped over her.

However, when Patricia started to cut (agreeing with me that Lucy would look best with long bangs and a little lift in the back---no bowl cuts for my baby) she was all business.

Patricia topped off the look with a little red rose and as you can see, we were all very pleased!

I love the haircut! She looks so grown up - more of a toddler than a baby.

Oh, my goodness... Lucy, you look like a supermodelbaby! And Benjamin is quite envious that you got to sit in the rocketship; he was too small when he went to sit in it. ;P
