World Thinking Day!

All over the world, Girl Scouts (or their country's equivalent) to celebrate the woman who started it all, Juliette Gordon Low as well as to learn about the international ties of sisterhood that bind them.

Our troop, 17365, represented Australia by offering freshly baked Aboriginal cookies and tidbits of information. Our troop won for best SWAP (a safety pin with a symbol exchanged among troops) by a landslide thanks to one of our troop volunteer moms who tirelessly sewed mini koalas and glued them onto safety pins!

The girls had a wonderful time trading their swaps, watching a variety of different international songs, and of course sampling a wide variety of tasty treats from around the world!
