Caught Being Good!

Lucy's school has instituted a new campus -wide program that has been going on in individual classrooms at the school for years. Children are "caught" performing an act of goodness such as helping a friend, assisting teachers, and other great behaviors that the school wants to encourage. The school also wants to put the emphasis on positive behaviors instead of negative ones.

Each time a child is caught by any teacher or administrator, they receive a green or orange ticket. At the end of the day, the student takes the ticket to the office and at the announcements on the loud speaker the next Wednesday morning by the principal! And at the end of the week, the kids who have been caught get a gift certificate to Yogurtland! So far, Lu (pictured above with her good friend Siona) has been caught numerous times!
