Happy National Luau Month!

Last month, Lu asked, "What are we doing for National Luau Month? May is National Luau Month!"

I was unaware that luaus had an official month (but thank you to Oriental Trading company bi-monthly catalog for alerting us to each under recognized holiday).

So I got pineapple shaped cookies, leis, skirts, along with a whole host of other Hawaiian-themed items, and sent out invitations to our very first annual National Luau Month celebration!

The girls absolutely loved twirling in their brightly colored skirts, blowing bubbles, eating mango kabobs, and drinking Passion Fruit-Orange-Guava punch, and of course scarfing down the cookies!

They are already excited for next year's celebration of this very important month! Too bring it up a level, I guess Matt will have to learn a fire dance.
