Lu and her friends are at the age right now where they want to have "real sleepovers" so we kicked off her very first one with her good friend Lily. As you can see from the picture above, the girls were beyond excited!
We started the evening at our local favorite Italian restaurant where the girls could hardly eat a bit of food because they were too busy being super silly and darn right adorable.
Then it was time for nightgowns and teeth brushing which took a long time due to the mass quantities of dancing that also occured at the same time.
Next, cuddle up in bed with much loved stuffed animals (and of course, eye masks)! Although they went to bed relatively early, I'm not sure how much sleeping actually was accomplished because Matt and I heard giggles all through the night.
In the morning (despite staying up until 10:40 p.m. chatting and waking up at 6 a.m.) the girls were full of energy and many plans for future sleepovers!
