This past Friday, Lucy's entire first grade class dressed up as their favorite fictional character (that's Lu, at the far right in the hot pink sweater).
They were all excited to see each other in the costumes, as well as delighted by the idea of wearing a costume all day to school! Each student stood up and said a short prepared speech about their character. Personally, I thought Lu's speech about Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus book series was the best!
