Every February, Lucy's elementary school throws a "Read-A-Thon," where the students participate in a range of activities to support the reading programs at their school.
There is "TV Turn Off Tuesday," where the students sign a pledge not to watch any TV at all on every Tuesday in February as well as seeking donations from friends and family.
But the big event is the Flashmob, where the students and teachers dance on the yard to a song that is later posted on YouTube! As soon as it's up, I'll post the video here!
