On October 27th, Lucy and her classmates from Room 21 (along with their counterparts from Room 9) headed to the local library for their very first field tup! They were divided into groups of three to walk with a parent to the library (Lu with her group--Viviana and T.J. above).
After one very loud walk later, the kids settled into the library's classroom for a lively story time.
Then it was time to peruse all the wonderful children's books the library has to offer! Lu even checked out a book called
Time to Sleep, a book about the different sleep patterns of animals. It was a great field trip and an excellent way to kick off this elementary school tradition!
