June has started off with a flurry of activities! First, Lucy made her stage debut as Monkey #1 in a production of The Lion King. She was a credit to all monkeys and actresses everywhere!
Next up, she went with me to vote in a local election. She even helped me fill out my ballot and was awarded her very own "I Voted" sticker.
The next week had her dancing elegantly in her dance school's annual Spring recital to "Somewhere Over The Rainbow."
The busy week ended with a hug and a sad goodbye from her kindergarten teacher Ms. Carey as the school year is now officially over! Lucy adores Ms. Carey and everything related to school so she was upset that she doesn't get to attend school everyday but hopefully summer will be just as fun!!
