Baby's First Sales Experience

Last Sunday, Lucy and her friend Lily (helped by 5th grader Anna and their parents), opened their very first lemonade/cookie stand. They also recruited classmate and friend Lucy W. to assist in pouring (see picture below).

Lucy ended up perfecting the art of the up-sell, confidently asking customers "Would you like to buy a cookie with your lemonade, for 50 cents extra?" 

No one turned her down. Despite the fact that the girls ate and drank quite a bit of the merchandise, they earned a little over $15. They plan on selling again soon!
