From her firework headband to her blue puffy tutu, Lucy was all decked out to celebrate our nation's birthday. And where else to show off her finery than in a parade?
Along with a bunch of other kids in their brightly decorated wagon, Lucy was dragged along (by her daddy and grandfather) the parade route down Main Street, Ventura. She waved at the bystanders and shook her little flag, screaming "Happy Birthday America!"
She was so darn patriotic that the local fire department named her an honorary deputy.
I mean, with that face, how could they not?
