Baby's 1st Manicure

As you all know, Lu has become quite a girly girl. She adores pink, things that glitter, and any all objects that are shiny. So when she filled up her responsibility chart and was asked to decide a reward, I was not shocked that she wanted to go to what she called "The Paint Store".

After deciphering that she didn't want a tour of paint at the local hardware store, we went for her very first professional manicure. She chose the color (Essie's Mint Cookie), chatted with her manicurist Allison about her favorite colors, movies, school, and even struck up conversations with the women next to her. She was a pro.

Then when it was all finished, she waved her light green nails at all the people in the salon. They all shouted back "Bye Lucy!" and she skipped out, happy as a clam.
And of course, very eager to fill up her chart so she can return!
