Flower girl anyone?

Ever since Ray and Carly asked Lucy to be a flower girl in their wedding over a year ago, Matt and I were excited but nervous. Would she walk in time for the wedding? Would she outgrow the lovely lavender-white dress before the ceremony? And then would she want to walk down the aisle?

But our fears were groundless, Lucy finally got up and grooving, the dress fit perfectly, and she lined up with other girls on the white paper runner. And when her time came, she daintily lifted her basket, dumped the flowers, and strolled down the aisle (eventually, needing a little help from Matt but still she made it). She even chose to remain up by the gazebo with Matt (acting as a groomsman), Ray and Carly during the ceremony though I had an aisle seat with a whole bag of toys, books and other goodies to keep her happy.
Now that she is a pro at this, I'm thinking of renting her out for this, we have the dress and everything (for a month at least)...

Good job, Lu! She looks so adorably sweet in her dress...I'm a very proud pseudo-auntie.

she's perfect! did you guys practice at home for weeks and weeks or did it just come naturally?

Thanks you guys! And it just came naturally! Although she watched the older (older being relative to your own age, at 3 and 4 years) girls waltz down the aisle first!
