Before Lucy was born, Matt and I wondered how Rosie would cope. While she obviously must have an inner core of steel that enabled her to survive Hurricane Katrina, we worried her nerves couldn't take all the noise and movement of a baby (after all, this is a dog who fears ceiling fans and who loathes to go outside).
We needn't have doubted our Rosie---her mellow nature is perfect for a baby! Rosie just lays right next to Lucy and watches her play, both of them very happy. And in a stunning move, Rosie has become a bit aggressive to those who dare knock on our door and disturb 'her' baby, finally showing us her tough side!
